Meet Jade

Our Aesthetics Practitioner Jade is a registered and practicing Midwife.

Jade has been a practicing midwife for over 13 years, graduating with an Honours Degree from the University of Nottingham in 2010. She initially worked within a large city hospital, before returning closer to home to begin her family, and now works at our local hospital as a senior staff midwife.

Jade has always had a keen interest in skin health and decided in 2021 to pursue this further and embark on a career in aesthetics.

Being the meticulous person that she is, she committed to a journey of high quality training at Masters level (Cosmetic Dermatology and Medical Aesthetic Injectables) with The Harley Academy in London, the UK's leading aesthetics training provider for medical professionals.

Jade joins the BATG team having established her own business locally and brings with her a passion for providing her clients with natural yet impactful results.

  • Anti-wrinkle injections are a very quick, easy and effective way to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines as well as preventing their formation while achieving natural, looking results to refresh your look.

    Anti-wrinkle Injectables work to prevent you forming static wrinkles by stopping the signals between the nerve and muscle.

    Because of the decreased movement in the muscle, this places less stress on your skin helping you maintain a fresh and youthful appearance. Because of this, this treatment is extremely effective when used as a preventative measure.

    Anti-wrinkle injectables are made from a purified protein that temporarily causes facial muscles to relax, softening lines and wrinkles and reducing the severity of visible wrinkles.

    Here at The Gate, we only use Allergan, the gold standard of anti-wrinkle injections and all treatments are performed by our Registered Aesthetics Practitioner Jade.

  • A professional medical method for the intensive treatment of acne-prone and seborrheic skins.

    Acnelan is an intensive treatment for acne-prone skin types. This professional treatment clears blocked pores, removes impurities, improves the skin texture, and addresses post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (acne scarring).

    At the heart of the treatment lies the innovative m.acne complex™, a unique combination of active ingredients selected specifically for their complementary properties. The formula contains salicylic acid, mandelic acid and sodium lepargilate, which combined with the exclusive bexaretinyl complex have a unique synergistic action that produces deep cleansing and comprehensive renewal of acne-prone and seborrheic skin.

    The Acnelan treatment plan incorporates four in-clinic treatment sessions usually spaced two -three weeks apart. The package also includes five homecare products that must be used in conjunction with the professional treatments. This will ensure the maximum result is achieved.

    It is important to note there is a process of shedding during the course of this treatment, which may last up to one -two weeks post treatment.

  • Profhilo is the latest and most effective technology for treating skin laxity, volume loss and general skin ageing.

    Profhilo has been developed to remodel the skin by distributing a high concentration of thermally stabilised chemical free Hyaluronic Acid (HA) within the dermal layers of the skin.

    Unlike dermal filler, Profhilo consists of 2 types of HA: a low molecular weight HA to provide hydration and stimulate collagen and elastin and a high molecular weight HA provides a structure and scaffold within the deeper layers of the skin.
