A Year To Remember

2023 has certainly been one to remember for us here at Beauty at The Gate. From dazzling award ceremonies, exclusive new treatments, and a big anniversary, it certainly won’t be a year we forget any time soon.

On New Years Eve, as we count down those final seconds to midnight, for many it is a moment to reflect on what has been achieved in the past year, possibly a glimmer of excitement on what is to come in the new year, a time to set those new year’s resolutions. As the year draws to a close, we have already set those thoughts in motion and cannot wait for the impending new year.

Many of you will be aware that we recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary. It feels like only yesterday we opened our doors for the very first time. The years have quickly flown by, and this year we’ve taken the time to stop and reflect on our incredible journey as a salon. From a small beauty business that ran from Sam’s home to the opening of 3 rooms at Beauty at the Gate, the salon has grown spectacularly to become the largest salon in the region, and one of the most decorated salons in the UK. This year saw us being named BABTAC Employer of the Year for a second year running, Scratch Magazine Nail and Beauty Salon of the Year, as well as being finalists in several further awards. It has been an absolute dream come true for us. These awards have been not only a highlight of this year, but in our whole journey as a salon. This wouldn’t have been possible without our loyal customers, and of course, our dedicated team of therapists. Putting ourselves forward for these big awards requires tireless work behind the scenes and puts all aspects of our salon under the spotlight. Our girls pull together time and time again for us, and there is no better feeling than watching the girls’ skills and expertise recognised and rewarded. We are also extremely proud to be able to bring attention on a national basis to the area and show that Grimsby and the surrounding areas can be amongst the best in their industry.

Since opening in 2013, we have always had a simple goal, to provide our clients with treatments and experiences that are second to none. We strongly believe that all our clients should have the opportunity to access cutting edge beauty treatments without having to travel out of our region to do so. We want to offer treatments that you cannot find anywhere else, all under one roof.
With that in mind, #BATGNewWave saw the introduction of CollagenWave and Hydrafacial to the salon, we have since gone on to bring Morpheus8, Lummeca, Vasculaze, SkinPen, Fillmed and 3D-Lipo Pro to the salon. These new treatments that have proven so popular, that we aren’t stopping there.

In 2024 we are extremely excited to bring Byonik, the first award-winning, highly effective, non-invasive treatment guided by your pulse. We cannot wait to be able to share this with you.
